Earrings in detail - 4, "playful"

These earrings are all playful in style - from the "ring around the moon", via the (tiny) leaves to the extravagant harlequin creations - of which I made only one, to special commission following an otherwise embarrassing loss by the owner of just half the pair!  The fourth are made from a collection of fused fragments, giving an element of "serendipity". 

The first three are made from Britannia silver, in order to take the pattern well and in the case of the harlequin  style, to take advantage of the softness in replicating the curved shape, and these three incorporate 18carat gold wire for decoration.  The fused pair are from Sterling silver and a 9 carat fragment.  These earrings cost between £20 & £50.
