Earrings in detail - with stones

Semi-precious stones can add interest - here are some using carnelian, moonstones, amber and peridot.  I prefer  cabochons over faceted stones, as they suit my style better, although faced stones have more sparkle.  The oblong stud earrings are made of reticulated silver, in one case gold plated with 5 microns of 18 carat yellow gold.  These cost £35 in silver or £50 plated in gold.  The amber have open silver backs and cost £35 while the peridot are mounted with closed backs in 18 carat gold and are £90.
